Meet the Cast
DYLAN MULVANEY
Dylan is a trans actress, comic, and content creator. Her viral videos have received nearly 1 billion views across TikTok and Instagram, and have been shown on news stations and meme accounts like CBS and UNILAD.
In 2022, she was awarded the TikTok Trailblazer award for her viral series “Days of Girlhood” documenting her transition journey. The series has received over 1 billion views and amassed 12 million followers. She also launched a limited run of T-shirts inspired by her TikTok series. In October, she was invited to the White House to speak with President Biden on trans rights.
Pre-pandemic, Dylan played Elder White in The Book of Mormon Broadway musical, fresh out of college from the Cincinnati Conservatory of Music. She lives in L.A. with hopes to bring trans stories to the mainstream and explore her love of acting, writing, hosting, and comedy.
ALEXANDRA BILLINGS
Alexandra Billings is an actress, singer, author, teacher and activist. Alex starred as "Madame Morrible" in the Broadway production of "Wicked," the first trans actor to portray the role. She previously starred on Broadway in Manhattan Theatre Club's "The Nap" at the Samuel J. Friedman Theater. Ben Brantley of the NY Times called her performance " ... a sensational Broadway debut..." and " ... a marvel of glamorous menace." Alex stars in the Amazon television series "The Peripheral." She starred in the award-winning television series "Transparent," and has been a recurring guest star on "The Conners," "Never Have I Ever," and many other television series. She stars in and is the Executive Producer of the upcoming feature film "Queen Tut." Ms. Billings was honored to receive the Visibility Award from the Human Rights Campaign (HRC). She is the recipient of five After Dark Awards and a Joseph Jefferson Award. She moderated a panel during Transgender Awareness Month at the Obama White House; she won the TPA Award, The Rainbow Spirit Award, and was inducted into the Gay and Lesbian Hall of Fame in Chicago. Her autobiographical memoir This Time for Me is published by Amazon Books. Alex earned her Master's Degree at CSU LB. She is currently an Associate Professor of Theater at USC. She is a Viewpoints Associate at The Steppenwolf Theater Company.
RACHEL BROSNAHAN
Rachel Brosnahan is an Award-Winning actress and producer. Most recently, she was nominated for a 2023 SAG Award for her performance as Miriam “Midge” Maisel in Amazon’s “The Marvelous Mrs Maisel” and has previously won an Emmy, two Golden Globes, two Critics' Choice Awards and three SAG Awards for the role. She was also nominated for a 2015 Emmy award for her work on the Netflix series “House of Cards”. Brosnahan’s most recent film Dead For A Dollar, also starring Christoph Waltz and Willem Dafoe, premiered at the 2022 Venice International Film Festival. Other past Television and Film credits include “Manhattan”, “Olive Kitteridge”, I’m Your Woman, The Courier, Patriots Day, and Louder Than Bombs. Brosnahan's production company, Scrap Paper Pictures, signed a first look deal with Amazon Studios in 2019 and has produced projects across film, television, theatre and audio including the film I’m Your Woman in which Brosnahan also starred and two installments of the award nominated comedy special "Yearly Departed". It was recently announced that Brosnahan will star in and produce the limited series "Lois & Varga" for Amazon Studios based on a short story of the same name by Lisa Taddeo. Halina Reijn is attached to direct. Rachel can currently be seen as Iris Brustein opposite Oscar Isaac in Lorraine Hansberry’s The Sign in Sidney Brustein’s Window, playing at BAM until March 24.
DOMINIQUE JACKSON
Dominque Jackson is a model, actress, and author who is best known for her performance as the lead role ELEKTRA in Pose for FX and recently starred as BLOODY MARY in the weekly anthology spin-off series American Horror Stories. Dominique can also be seen in an arc on American Gods on Starz, the feature film Chick Fight opposite Malin Akerman, Bella Thorne, and Fortune Feimster, and as a guest host on Legendary for HBO MAX where Dominique’s appearance went viral. Dominique also released her autobiography The Transexual From Tabago and was seen on the reality TV model/fashion show Strut for Oxygen.
L MORGAN LEE
is most known for her standout performance in A Strange Loop on Broadway for which she made history as the first openly transgender actor to be nominated for a Tony Award®. The debut also garnered her an Antonyo Award and a Drama League Distinguished Performance nomination. Other work includes playing the titular role in a musical adaptation of The Danish Girl being developed in London and 20+ years of Off-Broadway, Regional and both International and National tours. RENEÉ RAPP
Career took off when she landed the coveted role of Regina George in the Tony-nominated Mean Girls musical on Broadway. Shortly after, she found widespread recognition and praise from the likes of W, Harper's Bazaar, and The Hollywood Reporter for her performance as "Leighton" on the HBO Max series "The Sex Lives of College Girls" created by Mindy Kaling. Now, more empowered than ever, Rapp turned her attention back to music, which has caught on like wildfire with listeners. Her entire debut headline tour sold out in a matter of minutes, her inspiring single "Too Well" has impacted the Top 40, and her music has amassed over 100 million streams and counting. Not only that, she will be reprising the role of Regina George in the forthcoming Paramount+ feature adaptation of the Broadway musical Mean Girls. With much more new music on the way, including a deluxe edition of her EP Everything to Everyone, it's safe to say she's just getting started.
STATE SENATOR SARAH MCBRIDE
Senator McBride represents the First State Senate District, which includes Claymont, Bellefonte, and parts of Edgemoor and Wilmington. Raised in Wilmington in the First Senate District, she graduated from Cab Calloway School of the Arts and American University. She has been involved in community advocacy for most of her life, including working for former Governor Jack Markell, the late Attorney General Beau Biden, and as a White House intern during the Obama Administration. Most recently, she served as a spokesperson for the Human Rights Campaign, the nation’s largest LGBTQ equal rights organization. Prior to her service in the State Senate, McBride led the successful effort to pass a landmark non-discrimination law in Delaware, worked with state leaders to expand health care covered by Medicaid, and championed legislation protecting vulnerable youth from child abuse. McBride has taught public policy at the University of Delaware and is the author of the 2018 memoir, “Tomorrow Will Be Different.” For her work and advocacy, former Gov. Markell awarded McBride the Order of the First State, making her one of the youngest Delawareans granted the state’s highest civilian honor. When McBride was elected in November 2020, succeeding former state Senator Harris B. McDowell III, she became the first openly transgender state senator in American history. As a state senator, McBride has passed legislation expanding access to health care, requiring mental health and media literacy education in public schools, promoting green technologies, and protecting workers and families. In just her first term, McBride passed the landmark Healthy Delaware Families Act, providing paid family and medical leave to workers throughout the First State and marking the largest expansion of Delaware's social safety net in decades. She currently serves as chair of the Senate Health & Social Services Committee and is a member of the Senate Housing Committee, Senate Corrections & Public Safety Committee, Senate Judiciary Committee, Senate Veterans Affairs Committee, and the Joint Legislative Oversight and Sunset Committee. Sarah married her late husband Andrew Cray in 2014 and is the proud aunt of Juliette, Theo, Bennett, Sydney, Ben and Addison.

JONATHAN VAN NESS
Jonathan Van Ness is an Emmy-nominated television personality, 2x New York Times best-selling author, podcaster, comedian and hairstylist to the stars. He stars on Netflix’s Emmy Award-winning reboot series “Queer Eye,” where he shines as the hair guru and self-care advocate, and he is the host and executive producer of the Netflix series “Getting Curious with Jonathan Van Ness,” based on Jonathan’s popular podcast of the same name. The series is nominated for a 34th Annual GLAAD Media Award for ‘Outstanding Reality Series.’ He was a 2022 Primetime Emmy nominee for 'Outstanding Host for a Reality or Competition Program' along with his "Queer Eye" cast mates. Jonathan also starred on the Emmy-nominated web series “Gay of Thrones,” a witty social commentary series recapping HBO’s “Game of Thrones.” Launched in 2013, the series wrapped its eighth and final season last year and garnered Emmy nominations in 2016, 2018 and 2019 for ‘Outstanding Short Form Variety Series.’ Jonathan continues to work on his passion project, his podcast “Getting Curious with Jonathan Van Ness,” a weekly exploration of all the things Jonathan is curious about, and recently celebrated its 300th episode. The podcast was named one of the Top Podcasts of 2018 by Time Magazine, won the iHeart Radio Award for Best LGBTQ Podcast, and was a 2020 People’s Choice Award nominee for Best Pop Podcast. Jonathan was also a 2020 People's Choice Award nominee for 'Favorite Reality TV Star' for the second year in a row. Jonathan has completed two successful worldwide comedy tours, Jonathan Van Ness: Road to Beijing and Imaginary Living Room Olympian, which sold out theaters in 40 cities in the US, Canada, United Kingdom, Australia and New Zealand. In 2023, Jonathan will bring Fun & Slutty, A Night with Jonathan Van Ness to cities around the US, Canada and abroad. In September 2019, he released his revelatory memoir, Over The Top: A Raw Journey To Self-Love, a New York Times Best-Seller. Over The Top won the Goodreads Choice Award for Best Memoir & Autobiography and has been named a must-read book by The New York Times, TIME Magazine and NPR to name a few. Jonathan is passionate about using his platform and voice for change. As an avid supporter of the LGBTQ+ community, he worked closely with Planned Parenthood and The Trevor Project on campaigns tied to the release of his book that focused on removing the shame and stigma that comes along with talking about sexual health, as well as the long-lasting effects of bullying and how to overcome it. His second book, Love That Story: Observations From A Gorgeously Queer Life, was released April 2022 and is now a New York Times Best-Seller. Jonathan is also the author of the children's picture book, Peanut Goes For The Gold, about a gender non-binary guinea pig who does everything with their own personal flare. In December 2019, Jonathan made history as the first non-female solo cover star of Cosmopolitan UK in 35 years. In 2021 Jonathan launched JVN Hair, a haircare line that sees all beauty, serves all beauty, and honors the uniqueness in each of us. Driven to change the beauty industry from within, Jonathan worked with Amyris, a leading synthetic biotechnology company and bio manufacturer of clean, sustainable, natural ingredients. Together, they developed scientifically-backed haircare formulas, combining the best in effective and clean ingredients, creating an innovative, first of its kind haircare collection that celebrates hair health and the uniqueness of each person.
SAMORA LA PERDIDA
is a trilingual creator, poet, and performer, who starred in the 2022 Off-Broadway productions of SoHo Rep's Notes on Killing..., and Quiara Alegría Hudes' My Broken Language at Signature Theatre. She recently workshopped the lead role of John Leguizamo's new musical comedy and will next be seen on stage in Los Angeles in the world premiere of A Transparent Musical at the Mark Taper Forum. Samora wrote and starred in the Spanglish rap opera, pato, pato, maricón, which premiered at Ars Nova’s ANT Fest and recently gave a TEDx Talk entitled, “Do Latines Need to Speak Spanish? Finding Your Lost Mother Tongue.” Samora graduated from CMU with degrees in Drama and Global Studies and was a YoungArts Presidential Scholar at LaGuardia High School.
Wren Rivera
Wren Rivera is an Asian-Latinx non-binary performer originally from the burbs of Chicago. They’ve been seen on stage with Between The Lines (Jules/Ondine), Jagged Little Pill (Jo u/s, ens), and on the screen with Apple TV+’s WeCrashed. Nights like this are are unheard of. Mars Storm Rucker Multi-artist, genderqueer being & experience.
