Mark Pawsey
Mark is British and trained at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London, where he won the Liverpool Playhouse Award and an honors diploma in Stage Management. He spent 15 years in London’s West End working as a Stage & Company Manager on over 40 productions, including the original productions of The Phantom of the Opera, Hey Mr. Producer, Buddy and Taboo, the Boy George Musical. The next 16 years were as Tour Manager, General Stage Manager and Artistic Director, with the acclaimed Cirque du Soleil troupe, both on their resident shows in Las Vegas & Japan and touring throughout Asia, Europe and the Americas. While at Cirque, Mark presented a TEDx Talk in Edmonton, Canada, on “The Future of Inspiration." He has been a keynote speaker at Drama Schools and Entertainment Conferences in the United Kingdom and has performed as MC & Host on several showcases for Lamondance, a training and Performing Contemporary Dance Company for aspiring professional dancers in Vancouver, Canada. He currently sits on the board of the LGBT Center in Orlando. As a Producer and Project Manager at The Imagination House, Mark shares his unique working knowledge of Theatre, Circus, Cruise Ships, Theme Parks and Live Entertainment in helping support the Managing Partners to execute and realize their creative visions and aspirations while overseeing the delivery of a variety of creative services, to our diverse portfolio of clients.
