Nicky Dewhurst
Nicky Dewhurst comes from a performance back ground and has been involved in entertainment his entire life. At 12 years old, he performed a juggling act on UK National Television and went on to become an internationally renowned tight rope artist and clown. For the next 30 years he performed all over the world including performing as featured characters in five Cirque du Soleil productions: Cirque Réinventé, Nouvelle Experience, Fascination, Mystère and Zumanity, where he created the role of "Dick" the clown and for which he is credited for the creation and direction of three comedy acts. In 1994, Nicky founded Livewire Productions and has since then staged and directed countless special events, with clients including American Express, Chrysler, Canon, Avon, Abbott Labs, IBM, and Victoria Secret to name a few. Nicky was part of the creation of the aerial flight sequences for Madonna's Drowned World Tour and advised and performed on the Stunt team for Sasha Baron Cohen's The Dictator. As Writer and Director, Nicky Co-Directed with Laetitia Dewhurst for Cirque Du Soleil's One Night for One Drop 2017 at the Zumanity Theater Las Vegas as well as One Night for One Drop 2018 at the Michael Jackson Theater with Grammy nominated singer-songwriter Jewel. He also directed the show Cosmopolitan for Celebrity Cruises. Most recently Nicky Dewhurst and Laetitia Dewhurst collaborated as creative writers and theatrical advisers on the highly successful Mayfair Supper Club at the Bellagio Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas.
